2015 NJ Council Competition – My Best Score Ever

I haven’t posted in a while because I have been busy with school and keeping up with my training but this past weekend was so great. When I skated Saturday I got a 46 and I was happy with the improvement. That score put me in second place and got me in to the final round for Sunday.

There were so many great skaters at this competition and the final round obviously has the best of the group. I got to practice earlier that day and then went home to hangout with my sisters. We got back to the Ice rink around 2:30 pm on Sunday but there was some delay so our group did not compete until 4. I was the third skater. I felt I really skated a great program. I know I lost a little on my spins but I really felt the music and skated with passion. An hour or so later the result came out and I saw a 48.01 next to my name! This is my best score ever. Video is up. Check it out hereΒ 2015 NJ Council.

I started skating when I lived in Minnesota at five years old. I currently represent the The Ice House of NJ Figure Skating Club and skate at the intermediate level.
