I am working on my double Axel using a skid so I can get complete rotation. For my programs this year on my short program I have a double double combination, a triple jump, and a double Axel. For my Juvenile program I have a double Axel and other double jumps. I had a competition with my new programs. I performed my new programs for the first time at the Morris Open competition. This is the first time I have attempted the double Axel in competition.

During my Juvenile program of qualifying round I got first place with the score of 45 points. The score was pretty low because I’m still working on my double Axel and I did not get full credit. In the final round I second place with the score of 46.61. Now I am working to improve my double Axel and triple toe clean for the next competition!

Finally, I joined the local running club and started racing and am having a great time.

Going to the Eastern Sectional

20151004_165447

I enjoyed my time at Lake Placid with my family. My favorite part of  Lake Placid was the competing. In the qualifying round my score was 53.96 and I got first place. In the final round my score was 50.34 points and I got fourth place !That means that I made it to sectionals! I was so excited but I still wished I could have done much better! My dad promised me that if I had made it sectionals I could get a stuffed animal in a stuffed animal store that I had seen before when my older sister,my younger sister,my dad ,and me were walking around Lake Placid. That was a lot of fun. My second favorite part of our trip was getting my medal in the final round. The medal was gigantic! It is the biggest medal I ever got!  My third favorite part was walking around Lake Placid with my family. I now have nothing else to say ! So bye for now! ! One last thing! That was the best trip I had in a while but I think that is only because I made it sectionals!Bye for real now!

90th Middle Atlantic Skating Championship

I am really sorry that I have not posted anything in a while. I was very busy with school and skating. I want to tell you about my last two competitions that I participated in. In Moran at the Ice House I was very happy with my score in the final round but I wanted to get more points. This is my training facility so I really wanted to do well. In the qualifying round I got i got 46 points and the final round I got 52 points but that was not my highest score.

At the Chelsea Piers Sky Rink I did not do so well in the qualifying round but at the finals I got my best score ever!! My score was 55.87!!!!!!I I was so happy. My coach and my parents were pretty happy also. I got 3rd place though but I was still very excited about my score. If you have any questions about me or my skating you can ask in the comments.

P.S Don’t forget to like!!!!💖👑😋

See you on the Ice.

2015 NJ Council Competition – My Best Score Ever

I haven’t posted in a while because I have been busy with school and keeping up with my training but this past weekend was so great. When I skated Saturday I got a 46 and I was happy with the improvement. That score put me in second place and got me in to the final round for Sunday.

There were so many great skaters at this competition and the final round obviously has the best of the group. I got to practice earlier that day and then went home to hangout with my sisters. We got back to the Ice rink around 2:30 pm on Sunday but there was some delay so our group did not compete until 4. I was the third skater. I felt I really skated a great program. I know I lost a little on my spins but I really felt the music and skated with passion. An hour or so later the result came out and I saw a 48.01 next to my name! This is my best score ever. Video is up. Check it out here 2015 NJ Council.

Almost Got My Double Axel!

I have been waiting to get at least close to my double Axel for so long! I practice double air rotations, double Axels, double and triples with my jump rope, and other off-ice training. Just the other day my coach came out saying I’m so close to getting my double Axel. I’m so happy to hear that. I have been wanting to hear that since I started. I started working on my double Axel in the winter. I feel that soon I will be able to land it on ice and then my coach can add it to my program. When I land my double Axel I’m sure to post it! Bye! See you next time!

Welcome to my first Blog!!!!

This is my very first post. On this Blog I intend to share my figure skating activities and endeavors. Figure skating is my passion and impacts all aspects of my life – the way I workout and maintain my physical fitness, what I eat, how I dress, and interact with my friends and my family. I hope you will consider following me on my journey. I will try my best to make this Blog engaging and exciting. The good and the bad experiences, because lets face it, sometimes that is more interesting.
